Making money online is not an easy task, yet most attribute this career to the professional marketing companies and ebay wizards. However, there are some teens who have figured out that they can pull down a pretty decent income from the internet. How can teens make money online ? Well, there are numerous ways but one that is becoming the most popular and seeminly the easiest route is to create an online blog.
Cool thing is that there are many sites that allow you to set up as many posts as you want to, all for free. After you read this article, go check out Blogger.com or Squidoo.com. They offer free website creation and they baby-walk you through it (believe me: if I can do it, then it is totally idiot proof)
Okay, so how do teens make money by setting up a website ? The quick answer is that if you want to earn money from your site then you must monetize it. This is a fancy term meaning you must put advertisements of some kind on it so that you can get paid when people click on them.
There are many programs that you can look into for this: Google offers Adsense (free), which I prefer because it is automated. You can construct your site's premise on pretty much anything, apply for an Adsense account, and then wait for the googlebot to automatically populate your webpage with premade block ads. Sounds easy eh? Ok, well if your out to make some good money then that part IS the easy part. Gets tougher as we go. Trouble is that it is difficult to get people to visit your site in the first place, much less armtwisting them into clicking on the ads.
Google has special rules which basically disallow you to beg or con people into clicking (they want only natural clicks). Ok, so how can you make money if you don't know how to get people to come to your new, cool looking MotoCross website with the mud splashed all over the screen? The quick answer is that you CAN'T! So let's get people! There are many ways to get people to want to check out your site. I find that the easiest is to write a cool article about the same topic as my site is about and to submit it to as many websites as I can.
